My Ayurvedic Journey

Ancient wisdom, hidden knowledge and a learning opportunity sparked my curiosity.

I am a total geek when it comes to learning, I’m attracted to learning as much as possible about yoga and its sister sciences whether it be asanas, philosophy, chakras, mantra, Sanskrit language or in this instance Ayurveda.

Most people look at me blankly not really sure of what Ayurveda is all about when I tell them what I do, so it was the same with myself until I found it or it found me in India in 2006. On my return to the UK in 2007 I hurtled headlong into studying Ayurveda and I was totally captivated by its depth, insight and intelligent approach to life.  I loved its teachings and had good intentions of becoming a practitioner but life had other ideas. Instead I became a charity worker that lasted 10 fruitful years. Fast forward to 2020 and Ayurveda was calling to me, I reconnected with my original school of Ayurveda – European Institute for Vedic Studies and repeated the qualification for a second time. I’ve learnt timing is everything and now is my time to share the incredible teachings of Ayurveda with you.

I am an accredited Ayurveda Nutrition and Lifestyle Practitioner, through the APA (Ayurveda Practitioners Association) which is the largest Ayurveda body in the UK.
